Remove Cellulite With These 3 Quick Tips

By Jessica R Rogers

No matter what size or shape you are, at some point in your life you are likely to face the problem of cellulite. In fact, after the age of 20 the risk of developing the skin condition increases and continues to do so year after year. However, there is something you can do about it if you are willing to make the effort.

There are a number of methods and treatments around that can decrease the look of cellulite, including the dimpling of the skin. Like with most things though, it will require plenty of effort and patience in order to gain the results you are after.

1. Lose Weight

Cellulite is related to how much weight you carry. This is because it is the thin layer of fat that exists beneath the skin which becomes lumpy and causes the skin to dimple. By losing weight you will also lose some of the fat that causes the dimples. However, many skinny women also get cellulite because this thin layer of fat is difficult to remove completely and with age the skin and fat structures begin to breakdown. In order to lose the flab, go on a simple diet by eating the correct and right amount of foods. That is, lots of leafy vegetables, fruit and lean meat. Examine the amounts of food you eat and their fat and sugar content to ensure that you are eating less calories than you were before.

2. Move More

Any diet that you do should also be combined with exercise. Eating less and moving more will ensure that your results are quicker. Your body will also change to look better as a result. Make sure you don't neglect the weights so you only do cardio. Strength training will tighten and tone your problem areas, helping the cellulite to look better as a result.

3. Remove Caffeine and Alcohol

Toxins in your body are thought to make cellulite worse by causing the fat structures that hold the cellulite together to breakdown. They also make the body retain fluid in the fat cells, making the condition worse still. It is a good idea to consume less coffee and alcohol to ensure that the toxins to not accumulate too much in your body.

3. Drink More H20

Staying hydrated it is an important step when you are thinking of reducing the appearance of your cellulite. This is because water will help your body to flush out the toxins that make the condition worse. It also ensures that you skin stays firm and reduces the appearances of any dimples that you may have.
